MEET THE FOUNDER

Hey, I'm Amna!

Hi, I’m Amna, founder of Future Learn. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

I’m currently completing my MSc at Imperial College London, having previously earned my undergraduate degree in Medical Biochemistry.

Alongside my studies, I’ve gained extensive research experience in both wet-lab and computational settings, giving me a deep understanding of scientific concepts and how to explain them clearly.

For the past six years, I’ve been tutoring secondary school and GCSE students online, supporting learners through personalised lessons tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing students grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve results they once thought were out of reach.

Through Future Learn, my goal is to make learning engaging, supportive, and empowering, helping every student unlock their full potential.

What do our parents and students ask the most...

Not sure where to start?

Many students have a lot to revise but no clear idea of what to focus on first. We help your child organise their revision, identify the topics holding them back, and create a clear step-by-step plan so they know exactly what to do to achieve a Grade 8/9.

Working hard but still not improving?

Some students spend hours reading notes and revising, but their grades don’t reflect the effort they’re putting in. We diagnose the problem areas and transform them from weaknesses to strengths.

Losing marks in exams?

Many students understand the content but lose marks because they don’t know how to structure their answers or apply knowledge under exam conditions. We teach proven exam techniques, mark scheme strategies, and question-answering skills that help students secure the marks they deserve.

Lacking confidence?

When students fall behind or keep getting low grades, they can start to believe they’re simply not capable. We rebuild confidence by breaking down tricky topics, closing knowledge gaps, and helping students see that improvement is possible with the right support.

How long do you work with each student for?

We work with each student for a minimum of 2–3 months. This is not hourly tutoring, where students can come and go as they please. The students who have been most successful on our programme have received support with every step of their learning and exam preparation.

Typically, we work with students on a longer-term basis throughout their KS3 or GCSE journey, providing consistent support to help them make meaningful progress and achieve their academic goals.

What type of student is this for?

We work with a wide range of students, from KS3 to GCSE. Some are already achieving top grades, while others may be struggling with lower grades. Our programme can help high-achieving students push themselves further, while also supporting students who need additional guidance.

Despite this, we do not work with everyone and anyone. Our students all have one thing in common: they are committed to succeeding.

What background do your instructors have?

Future Learn is led by Amna, a passionate science tutor with over six years of experience helping secondary school and GCSE students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. With an undergraduate degree in Medical Biochemistry and an MSc from Imperial College London, she brings real-world science into engaging lessons, combining extensive subject knowledge with years of effective teaching experience.
